The VALVE Specialists

Our People

Stephen Doe - Managing Director

Stephen moved from Teesside aged 16 to serve his apprenticeship on various power stations all over England.

Following his apprenticeship he worked for Techflow becoming workshop supervisor at the tender age of just 22. During his 12 years with Techflow he mainly looked after Power Stations in the North East Lincolnshire area.

After successfully setting up a valve workshop for a local engineering firm, Bayes Engineering, Stephen and his father Maurice, also an experience Valve Engineer, decided to go it alone and set up Endotec in 2001.

In 2004 due to expansion, Endotec moved to its larger, custom built offices and workshop in Immingham and in 2007 have expanded further into the premises next door.

Paul Easton  - Technical Manager

Paul is our Technical Manager and is a time served mechanical fitter with 16 years experience. Paul has worked with Stephen Doe for many years, working his way through the ranks to become Endotec’s Technical Manager.

Paul’s in-depth valve experience means that he has managed projects all over the UK on various power stations and refineries and clients appreciate the trust they can put into not only his project management, but also his technical expertise.

Darren Schofield – Quality and Logistics Manager

Darren has been with Endotec since our early days in 2002. He started on the workshop floor and is now Endotec’s Quality and Logistics Manager.

In such as quality critical environment, Darren is commitment to ensuring our Quality and Health and Safety strategies and policies are first rate and to this end is driving Endotec’s work to achieve ISO 14001.

Apprentices

Like many industries the engineering and valve business was built on the development of apprenticeships and on the job training. Over the last 10 to 15 years this has dropped off and the result is a lack of experienced and time served engineers and technicians.

Endotec believe in the apprenticeship system as a way of maintaining standards and building for the future success of the industry and we currently have two apprentices.  Jack has achieved his B-Tech and ONC in electrical and is attending day release in mechanical at the Grimsby Institute. Michael is currently at the collage studying for his NVQ level 3.
